I was getting tired of digging through my tool box searching for tools when working on my bikes. It always like one missing one tool or another is being lost to the dark quagmire at the bottom of my tool box. I was in need of better organization. I was also tired of either bringing my whole flippin toolbox with me on trips, taking up unnecessary room in the car, or having to pick and choose which tools I should bring. Solution: tool roll.
I got the idea of Park's tool roll. I was looking at getting some new tools, and I stumbled upon it. However, I found that I own most of the tools it came with. So I just made my own custom tool roll out of a humongous old duffel bag from the DI. I tailored it around each specific tool, so they all fit in snugly. The quality of the stitches is a little shoddy as I killed the sewing machine about halfway into the project. The rest I had to hand stitch, which took for-ev-er!

It rolls up nice, but it weighs about a million pounds with those headset wrenches in it.
